Colored glasses have been used in producing artwork since ancient times. Stained glass is a colored glass that is used in making decorative windows and other artworks. These glasses are designed in such a way that light can pass through them. In this method of artwork, various colors are added in the glass to form some beautiful designs. Stained glass is mostly done on windows in which the colors have been painted onto the glass and then fused to the glass in a kiln.
Stained glass art requires artistic imagination to form unique designs and also engineering skills are used in assembling the pieces. It has become quite famous in recent years and can be seen in some of the world’s best art museums.
