Camping in Rishikesh – complete body and soul regeneration

Holy Ganga river that flows through Rishikesh (the world capital of Yoga) - the holy city for the Hindus, India.

It is said that in order to truly connect with yourself, you have to disconnect from the world. And, when you come to think of ways to disconnect, camping in the wild has proven to be one of the most effective ways to do it. Imagine, sitting in the lap of nature, under a dark sky, gazing at the stars; there’s really nothing more satisfying!

It was not long ago when, like every city-dweller, I wanted to escape the routine and enjoy some moments of calm and solitude. I was on a lookout for something simple, yet adventurous, and easily accessible. I was going through all the options that were available and came across this brilliant idea of camping in Rishikesh.

Rishikesh, the quaint city in the state of Uttarakhand, is nestled at the foothills of the Himalayas in the Shivalik Range. Known for its spiritual significance, people visit this place from all over the world who seek guidance and relaxation. It is also popular for its yoga institutes and holds a special place in the community.
